IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO VISIT THE OFFICE

  To qualify:

• - Possess a valid California Class A/B Commercial Driver’s License.
  
• - Prove ownership of one or all of the following truck types:
            1)  3-4 axle dump truck with a 15-ton minimum legal load capacity (4 axle trucks desired), or
            2)  5 axle semi-truck trailer high-side or low-side with a 20.7 ton
                 minimum legal load capacity.
            3)  Live bottom trailer (non-dumping) with truck tractor.
  
• - Proof of Automobile Liability Insurance (one million dollars).
  
• - Proof of current "Satisfactory" BIT Inspection.
  
• - File individually (not as a broker, partnership or corporation).
  
• - File All application materials by MARCH 6, 2013.

The As-Needed Haul Truck Waiting List provides the Bureau of Street Services with a pool of qualified and ready-to-work truckers who will give trucking services as an independent owner-operator. Work is not guaranteed.
