Personal City Services Program

The Personal City Services Program was launched by Councilman Greig Smith (District 12) in 2005. It gives community residents and groups the chance to improve and beautify their own neighborhoods, improving the quality of life for all.

The program applies to residents or any group, such as a Business Improvement District or Neighborhood Council. It allows them to use their own funds to pay for the overtime costs for City crews to perform a variety of services. The services available include:

  • Tree trimming and weed clearing
  • Filling potholes
  • Curb, gutter & sidewalk repair
  • Upgrading park facilities
  • Equipment for park programs
  • Purchasing library books & materials or beautifying facilities at local library branches.
