The Technical Services Section provides the following services for the Bureau of Street Services (BSS):

• Prepares engineering plans and manages improvements at over 40 BSS facilities, including two asphalt plants
• Prepares environmental assessments and obtains required environmental permits for BSS facilities
• Physically improves BSS facilities through the use of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, welding, and other trade professionals.
